Tzu-Shiuan Huang
Week 10

  • Find examples of transmedia touchpoints and design precedents that inspire and guide your project. Look at type details and FADPs.
You should not be restricting this research to design within your topic but rather look for style, atmosphere and details.

  • Consider class feedback and adjust your concept visuals to more effectively communicate your event. Establish how visual style might be consistant across the entire set.
  • Clarify the concept of the central hub & three touch points. Brain storm the different touchpoints and their roll-out differences and consistencies and their place in the strategy.
  • What is the third open–touch point?
  • Apply visual language across transmedia strategy. Remember process > work quickly and approximately trialing ideas using thumbnail sketches. Build up your visuals with more detail, making decisions and refining. Develop a range of quick visual options for your transmedia strategy. Think about how the conceptual and visual style can be adapted and developed without loosing its clarity and cohesion. How will you build a 'narrative' or journey from the first encounter through the experience of all touch points in your strategy?
  • Begin to trial: cosider the format, layout and content of each touch point.
