Exploring further into visual metaphors and rhetoric approach, Claire designed a "tip of the iceberg" poster concept. We decided to use more illustrative elements to give the poster more depth and to help create a juxtaposition of textures and bold colour. This "tip of the iceberg" metaphor we have found to be the strongest so far in terms of clear message with many useful and informative wordplay to develop on.
Developing this concept further, we arrived at a slightly different metaphoric approach using a similar concept. This transitioned into a parodic take on the recognisable "Jaws" themed poster. A simple more effective pun is used to create a more memorable catchphrase "Shores", a play on the movie title "Jaws". Again more illustrative elements need to be added in order for this poster to be effective, however this lead to an agreement on a more refined, consistent colour pallet.
New textures and elements reference sheets
Our logo for this project is the letters "G A G" In plain san serif font an anagram for our new identity "Good As Gone" with a simple border applied. We feel a simple logo is necessary for being more memorable and targeted to those with an appreciation of minimal but sophisticated design, ideally our target audience of ages 18-25
